MAHA PAC Launches $1.9 Million Push to Secure Iowa Governorship

The MAHA PAC and MAHA Action PAC are pouring $1.9 million into the final stretch of the midterm elections, aiming to secure the nation’s first gubernatorial victory for their movement. The campaign centers on Zach Lahn’s bid for Iowa governor, bolstered by a 15-day grassroots field operation and targeted support for six key congressional races.

MAHA Action PAC is providing the bulk of the funding with a $1.5 million donation to Zach Lahn’s campaign, supplemented by $150,000 in independent expenditures from MAHA PAC. Beyond the Iowa governor's race, the organization is deploying $250,000 across six House contests for candidates, including Anna Paulina Luna and Tom Barrett, who have integrated the movement's health-focused agenda into their platforms.

Starting October 21, the PAC will mobilize volunteers from a Des Moines base to execute a 15-day door-knocking program, targeting more than 18,000 voters in its statewide network. This effort will culminate in a "Make Iowa Healthy Again" rally on October 28, intended to galvanize support for policies addressing chronic disease, food transparency, and environmental toxins. Tony Lyons, president of MAHA PAC, characterized the investment as a critical step in transitioning the movement from grassroots organizing into a governing legislative majority.
