Essency Appoints Ricardo Corrales to Lead Western U.S. Expansion

To accelerate its push into the Western United States, water-heating manufacturer Essency has appointed industry veteran Ricardo Corrales as Regional Business Development Manager. The move aims to bolster contractor support and field training across California, Arizona, and the Pacific Northwest, directly addressing shifting regional regulatory requirements.

Essency Appoints Ricardo Corrales to Lead Western U.S. Expansion

Corrales brings two decades of sales experience, including eight years specifically within the plumbing and water-heating sector. His primary mandate involves strengthening relationships with distributors and contractors, particularly as Western markets grapple with tightening zero-NOx standards and broader electrification mandates. He will split his focus between emerging opportunities in California and Arizona while coordinating with United Sales Northwest to sustain the company's existing momentum in Washington and Oregon.

This leadership addition follows the company’s recent "California Blitz" initiative, which saw field training teams visit major hubs from San Diego to Oakland. National Sales Director Scott Isaksen noted that the company is prioritizing hands-on support to help professionals navigate complex local air-district policies. Central to this strategy is the EXR electric water heater, a product engineered for high durability in hard-water environments. Corrales will serve as the primary contact for partners across the broader Western region, including Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah, as the firm positions itself to meet the growing demand for electric alternatives in residential construction.
