Industrial automation often stalls in the procurement phase, where budget approvals and infrastructure requirements create layers of complexity before a single vehicle hits the floor. Lior Tal, CEO of Cyngn, noted that the program is engineered to strip away this friction, allowing firms to test high-value routes within their actual operational environments. The service centers on the DriveMod Autonomous Tugger, a vehicle capable of hauling up to 12,000 lbs across diverse warehouse and production staging areas.
Under the new model, the company manages the heavy lifting of vehicle deployment, autonomous configuration, and staff onboarding. Once operational, clients oversee their fleet and mission parameters through the Cyngn Insight software platform. By shifting the financial structure from a capital-heavy purchase to a monthly operating expense, the firm hopes to provide a faster, more accessible path for manufacturers grappling with chronic labor shortages and the need for improved safety, with the hardware typically targeting a payback period of under two years.
