Geering joins the Salt Lake City-based firm after leading privacy and AI governance programs at another major education technology company, where he managed key ISO certifications. His background includes overseeing international compliance for financial institutions and serving within government data protection authorities. He holds Masters of Law from the University of Basel and University College London, and maintains certifications as a privacy professional in both the United States and Europe.
