REJURAN COSMETICS Leverages LAFC Match to Expand K-Beauty Reach

At BMO Stadium on September 9, thousands of football fans encountered more than just a match as REJURAN COSMETICS turned the LAFC Korean Heritage Night into a massive product showcase. The brand distributed 10,000 samples to attendees, marking a strategic shift toward sports-integrated marketing in the North American market.

The activation saw the South Korean skincare company—a subsidiary of PharmaResearch—take over stadium exit gates to hand out its signature Turnover Ampoule. By moving beyond traditional beauty retail channels, the brand aimed to engage a diverse demographic of male fans, families, and multicultural communities. The event featured on-site content creation sessions for invited influencers, allowing the brand to bypass conventional advertising in favor of direct, experiential exposure.

This partnership underscores a broader trend of beauty brands infiltrating sports culture to reach new audiences. For REJURAN, the move coincides with a period of aggressive expansion, including a nationwide rollout in 148 Sephora Canada locations. PharmaResearch is also preparing to acquire California-based Cosmetic Group USA to solidify its manufacturing footprint on the West Coast. According to Jooyeon Song, COO of PharmaResearch USA, the stadium environment offered a unique cultural intersection to highlight the company’s regenerative medicine background and its DOT c-PDRN technology to a wider group of North American consumers.
