Maritime Launch and Isar Aerospace Move to Execution Phase in Nova Scotia

The agreement formalizes the infrastructure requirements necessary for Isar Aerospace to establish its dedicated launch site within the Canadian facility. Stephen Matier, President and CEO of Maritime Launch Services, confirmed that construction is already underway on-site, with teams prioritizing operational readiness for the arrival of the Spectrum launch vehicle.

This development follows the successful conclusion of Isar Aerospace’s second qualification flight, known as Mission 'Onward and Upward.' Alexandre Dalloneau, Vice President of Mission and Launch Operations at Isar, noted that the successful delivery of payloads during that test flight validated the company’s technical readiness to expand its footprint to North America. The finalized milestones do not alter the core terms of the facilities usage agreement reached in July 2026, but provide the necessary framework for both companies to begin active launch operations.
