The rollout follows a successful pilot of Nexus Black Resolve, which empowered 65 engineers to diagnose equipment faults using AI-guided photo, video, and voice inputs. By automating survey documentation and asset logging, the company has reduced repair-related administrative tasks from hours to minutes. This shift allows field teams to focus on client-facing service rather than manual data entry.
Beyond field service, Eight Group is leveraging IFS Loops Knowledge Manager to ingest technical documentation and historical service records. This tool provides engineers with real-time, context-aware answers, simplifying the integration of newly acquired businesses that bring disparate data histories into the fold. Supported by implementation partner DNASTREAM and the IFS Success program, the group aims to minimize operational friction during its rapid growth phase. According to CEO Dan Guest, the investment is central to a long-term strategy of moving away from reactive service models toward a data-led, intelligent infrastructure.
