Hanwha’s EnergyFluo AI Named to Fast Company’s 2026 Tech List

EnergyFluo, an agentic AI energy management system developed by Hanwha’s TransGrid Energy, has been selected for Fast Company’s 2026 Next Big Things in Tech list. The platform optimizes power consumption for data centers by orchestrating grid, battery, and on-site generation sources to increase IT capacity within existing energy constraints.

The system, recognized in the Applied AI category, integrates physics-based equipment models with machine learning to analyze real-time data across cooling, IT loads, and power generation. By automating monitoring and response protocols, the technology offers targeted operational cost savings of 5% to 25%. Prime Group has already adopted the platform for a nationwide deployment of edge data centers.

Beyond its efficiency gains, the software prioritizes safety and human oversight. In March 2026, it became one of the first AI-enabled products to earn certification under UL 3115, the industry standard for AI-based product safety. Dr. Youngchoon Park, CEO of TransGrid Energy, noted that the system allows operators to manage entire fleets from a single intelligent interface, moving beyond the limitations of site-by-site management.
