Eight non-profit organizations across the United States have secured funding from the Visiting Angels Foundation to bolster essential services for vulnerable seniors. The 2026 summer grant cycle provides financial support to groups ranging from rehabilitation centers to home-repair initiatives, ensuring that aging populations maintain access to critical health resources and independent living.

The selected organizations, identified by local Visiting Angels franchises, receive either $5,000 or $1,500 depending on their nomination history. Recipients include Pennsylvania’s Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Virginia’s The Center at Belvedere, and Georgia-based Memory Matters Glynn. Other grantees provide specialized assistance, such as Dementia Friendly Fort Worth in Texas and Washington’s A Caring Closet, which distributes medical equipment like wheelchairs and walkers to those in need.

Additional recipients include the NVAR Lions in Texas City, Damian’s Ladder in California, and the Senior Action Network of Eastern Washington. According to Dan Drennen, President of the Visiting Angels Foundation, the funding aims to sustain organizations that share the foundation's core mission of direct senior care. Since 2021, the foundation has distributed $374,000 to more than 89 organizations nationwide, maintaining a strict vetting process that requires grantees to demonstrate financial stewardship and measurable positive outcomes for their clients.
