Drivers now manage operations through an expanded Smart Dash interface, which supports navigation, reverse camera feeds, and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For passengers, the interior overhaul focuses on accessibility and comfort. Wider staircase steps lead to a cabin featuring Kiel Avance X seating, USB-C connectivity, and ambient lighting. Practical capacity has also seen a boost with expanded luggage compartments and redesigned overhead racks. The transition to the Euro 7-ready Super powertrain aims to deliver an 8 to 10 percent reduction in fuel consumption and emissions, supported by a 25 percent increase in component lifespan. Sundeep Kumar, Head of Portfolio Management at Scania, noted that the model balances reliability with the modern design requirements of current travel operators. The company plans a phased rollout of the new generation, starting with a battery-electric vehicle variant.
