Webex Integrates LeapXpert to Bring WhatsApp Under Corporate Control

The collaboration targets the disconnect between where employees want to work and where businesses must maintain oversight. By embedding LeapXpert’s governance tools into the Webex platform, organizations can finally bridge the gap between consumer-grade messaging and enterprise security requirements. Avi Pardo, co-founder of LeapXpert, noted that firms failing to govern these external conversations are currently carrying significant, invisible risks.

Starting immediately, users can access the integration through the Webex App Hub. Once connected, employees communicate with external contacts using existing credentials on either desktop or mobile devices. The system automatically captures and archives these exchanges, providing a centralized record for compliance teams. While WhatsApp serves as the initial channel, the companies plan to expand support to additional messaging platforms in the coming months. LeapXpert will demonstrate the full capabilities of this integration at the WebexOne 2026 conference in early October.
