The school, a partnership between Rendeavour and Wellington College, represents the second African addition to a global network of 12 premium British institutions. Situated within Tatu City’s 5,000-acre development, the co-educational facility will serve students aged 3 to 18, offering both boarding and day programs. The inclusion of boarding facilities is a core component of the institution's identity, designed to mirror the standards of the wider Wellington College family.
James Dahl, the 15th Master of Wellington College, noted that Parker-Jones’s track record at Rugby School made him an ideal choice to lead the new venture. For his part, Parker-Jones emphasized the unique combination of the school's global reputation and its location in East Africa. Rendeavour CEO Stephen Jennings highlighted the appointment as a strategic move to establish a world-class educational anchor, intended to attract international investment and provide regional families with a local alternative to overseas schooling.
