Acclaimed street artist Tracy Lee Stum designed the installation, which centers on a visual recreation of the resort's Daydream River. By positioning themselves within the chalk work, visitors can capture scenes meant to mimic the relaxing atmosphere of the property’s signature lazy river. Stum, a former Guinness World Record holder for individual chalk painting, aimed to translate the serenity of the Florida retreat into the heart of New York City.
Scheduled to debut July 1, 2027, the actual Lakeshore Lodge draws its aesthetic from Disney animation classics like Bambi, Pocahontas, and Encanto. The 967-room property features waterfront Lake Houses and studios designed with earthy palettes and organic materials. Disney Vacation Club members gain early booking access on October 6, followed by Annual Passholders on October 7, with general public reservations opening October 8.
