Reiner Braun Named COO as AWIN Group Targets Premium Retail Expansion

Dr. Sylvester Chuang, co-founder and chairman of AWIN, described the appointment as a decisive step toward sharpening operational performance. Braun joins the group following a tenure as President and CEO of BMW Group Latin America and a previous stint leading BMW Group Canada. His mandate includes overseeing the group’s day-to-day operations and managing the integration of new acquisitions as the network expands beyond its current reach of over 30 locations.

Braun brings a quarter-century of international experience to the role, having navigated complex supply chain challenges and shifts toward electric vehicle portfolios during his time at BMW. As he transitions into the COO position, his focus remains on scaling systems to support the organization's diverse portfolio of over 20 brands. AWIN, which maintains a significant presence in the Greater Toronto Area, aims to leverage this new leadership to maintain its competitive edge in the premium automotive segment.
