Consoli, the owner of Cruise Planners – Michael Consoli & Associates, will join six other industry leaders in Amsterdam on October 15 for the official naming ceremony. His selection follows 25 years in the travel business, during which he became the top-producing franchise owner in the Cruise Planners network and maintained a consistent partnership with Viking since 2010.
The Viking Sekhmet, an 82-guest vessel, is designed specifically for the company’s 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids route. The ship features 41 staterooms and an indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace, providing guests with access to historical sites across Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. For Consoli, the role represents a career pinnacle, linking his professional legacy to one of the most significant destinations in the cruise line's portfolio.
