Founder Yasmin Sewell will maintain her creative and strategic influence, continuing in her role as Chief Brand Officer while retaining a minority equity stake. Existing investors, including Elevate Beauty and Manzanita Capital, are also staying on as partners. The move integrates Vyrao into a broader ecosystem designed to provide the brand with enhanced commercialization tools and clinical resources while preserving its distinct identity.
Since its 2021 debut, Vyrao has positioned itself at the intersection of luxury perfumery and neuroscience. By utilizing clean ingredients and collaborating with International Flavors & Fragrances, the brand has expanded from its initial "neuroscent" collection into candles, incense, and body care. Dr. Tamez noted that the partnership seeks to leverage Vyrao's intellectual property for global expansion, citing the brand's unique ability to blend emotional wellness with luxury retail appeal. The transaction was advised by Victoria Kisseleva and Alex Lewis of FRP Corporate Finance.
