John Hancock Closed-End Funds Set February Shareholder Meetings

Nine John Hancock closed-end funds have scheduled their annual shareholder meetings for February 16, 2027. The sessions will take place at the company’s headquarters at 200 Berkeley Street in Boston, where investors will cast votes to elect the funds' Board of Trustees for the coming term.

Shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 24, 2026, are eligible to vote at the meeting or any subsequent adjournments. Official notices detailing the agenda and voting procedures are scheduled for distribution to investors on or about December 28, 2026.

The participating funds include the John Hancock Financial Opportunities Fund (BTO), Diversified Income Fund (HEQ), Income Securities Trust (JHS), Investors Trust (JHI), and the Preferred Income series (HPI, HPF, HPS). Additionally, the Premium Dividend Fund (PDT) and Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund (HTD) will conduct their meetings concurrently. Manulife John Hancock Investments oversees these portfolios, utilizing a multimanager approach to manage global assets across equities and fixed income.
