Mark Lenhard Tapped to Lead Parker Health Group

Lenhard brings three decades of experience in long-term and post-acute care to the Piscataway-based nonprofit. During his tenure at United Methodist Communities, he championed technological modernization, including the launch of BEAM Consulting to integrate artificial intelligence into senior living infrastructure. His appointment follows a national search conducted by the Parker Board of Trustees, which sought a leader capable of preserving the organization's person-centered culture while expanding its reach.

Muñiz leaves behind a legacy of significant transformation. Since joining Parker in 1998, he oversaw the organization’s evolution from a two-facility nursing operation into a broad service provider assisting more than 16,000 older adults annually. His tenure included the establishment of the Parker Advanced Care Institute and a deep partnership with the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. As Lenhard prepares to transition into the role, he plans to focus on strengthening the organization's mission and exploring new avenues for service delivery.
