Acron Aviation Expands Singapore Surveillance Repair Hub

Previously, regional customers had to ship surveillance hardware outside of Asia for maintenance. By localizing these operations, Acron Aviation aims to cut logistics delays and provide direct technical support within the same time zone. Ronald Nye, President of Avionics at Acron Aviation, noted that the Singapore footprint provides the necessary proximity to meet the demands of local aircraft operators and maintenance, repair, and overhaul providers.

Thomas Mouveaux, General Manager of APAC for Aviation Global Services at Thales, emphasized the strategic importance of this service expansion given the high market share of ACSS products in the region. As the sole authorized repair partner for these surveillance systems in the territory, Thales will focus on aligning its Singapore operations with the manufacturer's performance standards to ensure reliability for fleet managers.
