Developed locally and manufactured at the expansive CEER Manufacturing Complex, the new vehicles serve as the foundation for a broader portfolio of seven models scheduled for release over the next five years. These vehicles feature designs inspired by the Saudi landscape, blending cultural identity with international engineering standards. The project represents a cornerstone of the Public Investment Fund's broader mandate to diversify the economy and move beyond traditional industrial reliance.
Beyond domestic production, the initiative carries ambitious long-term economic targets. Projections indicate that by 2034, CEER will contribute approximately USD 8 billion to the national GDP and improve the trade balance by USD 21 billion. By fostering an integrated automotive ecosystem, the company intends to create high-quality employment opportunities while attracting significant private sector investment. This launch reflects the government's commitment to the Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, positioning the Kingdom to compete directly in the rapidly evolving global electric vehicle market.
