The merger brings together two specialized players in the healthcare sector. While TILT Story focuses on brand strategy, creative content, and consulting, LionShare contributes three decades of expertise in data-driven marketing and business intelligence. The acquisition allows TILT Story to offer a more rigorous, data-backed service model to clients who have increasingly demanded proof of performance for their marketing expenditures.
LionShare will maintain its brand identity and operations in Kansas City under the continued leadership of President Sara Dykes. Founder Laura Lee Jones, who established the firm in 1995, will transition into the role of Founder and Executive Advisor while joining the board. Joanne Thornton, CEO of TILT Story, noted that the cultural and operational alignment between the two companies was a primary driver for the deal, which seeks to combine the "science" of data analytics with the "art" of creative healthcare marketing. Financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.
