Advita Ortho Launches Axis Research Hub for Shoulder Surgeons

The initiative draws on a massive dataset compiled from 45 global clinical sites, which has already fueled more than 250 peer-reviewed publications. Through the new Axis website, Advita Ortho is debuting a feature called ORbits, which provides concise summaries of studies alongside video interviews with researchers. These resources allow medical professionals to explore the rationale behind specific clinical questions and understand how to integrate findings into daily practice.

Joseph Zuckerman, MD, a research team member, emphasized the scale of the database, noting that the program reports on cohorts of up to 2,000 cases, providing a level of statistical reliability that stands out in the orthopedic field. This launch coincides with a surge of activity for the company, which is currently presenting new research on computer-assisted navigation, radiomics, and predictive analytics at the International Congress of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (ICSES) in Vancouver. Recent findings were also shared at the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA) in Munich, covering advancements in machine learning and implant design. By centralizing these complex data streams, Advita Ortho intends to bridge the gap between academic research and clinical application.
