The carnival features four distinct pillars: an international arts exhibition, an immersive audiovisual wonderland show, a high-level technology salon, and the Audiovisual Arts Night. These programs integrate state-of-the-art tools, including 3D mapping, motion capture, and LiDAR-based tracking, to reimagine traditional performances. By hosting these sessions, the district seeks to bridge the gap between national media organizations, emerging university talent, and international tech brands.
Beyond the central exhibits, Jing'an is launching a broader campaign to stimulate local consumption through mid-October. Key initiatives include the 'Shining Shanghai Light Up Jing'an' project and the 14th Shibei Beer Festival. A partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment Group will anchor the Nanjing West Road commercial area, where nearly 100 events will highlight advancements in the metaverse, artificial intelligence, and fashion. This city-wide effort aims to weave music, sports, and digital art into the public cultural fabric, positioning the district as a central node for China’s evolving cultural tourism economy.
