The partnership marks a significant transition for the 40-year-old accounting and advisory firm as it seeks to scale its presence beyond its current footprint in eight states. While the specific financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, existing investor F3 Partners and the firm’s leadership are maintaining significant ownership stakes in the business.
To facilitate the transaction, Guggenheim Securities, LLC acted as the financial advisor to Richey May and F3 Partners, while BMO Capital Markets advised Genstar. The move aligns with Genstar’s broader portfolio strategy, which manages approximately $51 billion in assets across sectors including financial services and software. Richey May plans to leverage this partnership to strengthen its technical expertise and national service capabilities.
