The merger combines Pro-Vision’s existing mobile video platform with Convoy’s specialized vision systems, designed specifically to reduce blind spots and prevent accidents in commercial fleets. This strategic move allows the company to offer a more flexible, comprehensive safety package to its global customer base. Pro-Vision President and CEO Michael Finn noted that the collaboration addresses the diverse requirements of modern fleets by matching specific technologies to unique vehicle applications.
John LeRosen, a partner at Vance Street, characterized the acquisition as a key move to secure existing commercial fleet relationships and expand technical capabilities. Vance Street, which acquired Pro-Vision in 2024, continues to focus on growing its portfolio of industrial technology and critical asset monitoring businesses. While the financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed, the integration marks a significant push to consolidate safety hardware providers under one umbrella. Legal counsel for the deal was provided by Winston & Strawn LLP.
