BillingPlatform has appointed three industry veterans to its executive team as the Denver-based company moves to capitalize on the growing demand for AI-native usage-to-cash software. The new hires join following a period of rapid expansion, during which the firm reported over 500% revenue growth over the last five years.

Steven Springsteel, formerly of Recurly, joins as Chief Financial Officer, bringing 35 years of experience in enterprise software finance and a track record of leading two successful IPOs. Rob Zwiebach, who previously directed financial application roadmaps at Workday and spent 17 years at Oracle, steps in as Chief Product Officer. Chris King, a veteran of Salesforce and Zuora with 25 years of experience in customer success, completes the new lineup as Chief Customer Officer.

CEO Chris Bishop stated that the additions are intended to strengthen the company’s operational depth as it targets enterprise-scale customers. BillingPlatform currently serves major organizations including J.P. Morgan, DIRECTV, and Instacart, utilizing a unified metadata model that allows teams to manage billing operations conversationally. The company has recently secured top rankings in industry reports from Gartner, Forrester, and MGI Research, signaling its emergence as a dominant player in the recurring billing market.
