Jonathan Bivens, a licensed Professional Engineer, has spent four decades at S.T. Wooten Corporation, where he pioneered the firm’s adoption of Design-Build delivery methods for the NCDOT. His portfolio includes critical upgrades to major North Carolina arteries like I-85 and I-95. Alongside his project work, Bivens has served three terms on the Carolinas AGC Board of Directors and contributed to multiple legislative and roadway subcommittees.
The Hall of Fame Legacy award was granted posthumously to Seth T. Wooten, Jr. As a second-generation leader who took the helm of S.T. Wooten Corporation in 1991, he oversaw the company’s expansion to over 1,000 employees. Wooten is remembered for formalizing the firm's safety programs and championing a culture of employee development that remains central to the organization’s identity today.
