Financial discipline remains a priority as the company works to lower its net leverage ratio, which currently sits at 4.4x, toward a long-term target of below 3x. During the quarter, Chemours utilized proceeds from the Kuan Yin property sale and organic cash to pay down €230 million of its B-3 Euro-denominated term loan. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, leadership expects continued strength in Titanium Technologies pricing, though they anticipate softer earnings in the Thermal & Specialized Solutions segment due to seasonal shifts and inventory adjustments.
