The Yavne-based distributor of kosher foods attributed its strengthened operating margins to a more profitable product mix and the appreciation of the shekel against the U.S. dollar and the euro, which lowered import costs. Chairman Zwi Williger and CEO Joseph Williger noted that these results reflect a disciplined execution of their long-term growth strategy. Operational expenses, however, rose as the company increased headcount and advertising to support its expanding logistics footprint.
Construction of the company's new refrigerated logistics center remains a central focus. Despite initial delays earlier this year, management expects the facility to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2026. Executives anticipate that this center will serve as a primary growth engine, providing the operational flexibility needed to enter new product categories and reduce long-term logistics costs. The company concluded the quarter with a solid cash and securities position of NIS 257.6 million, providing a stable foundation for ongoing investments.
