Mad Hippie Targets Expression Lines with Peptide-Based Eye Cream

Priced at $34.99, Mad Hippie’s new Wrinkle Relaxing Eye Treatment aims to offer a non-invasive alternative to Botox and retinols. The Austin-based brand is leveraging a blend of five peptide complexes to address crow's feet, dark circles, and puffiness while maintaining its signature clean-beauty formulation standards.

The formula centers on a penta-peptide approach, utilizing ingredients like Syn-Ake and Argireline Amplified to target muscle contractions and soften expression lines. According to co-founder Dana Stewart, the product uses clinical concentrations to provide visible results without the irritation often associated with harsher anti-aging treatments. The cream also incorporates Matrixyl Synthe'6 for lifting and reducing wrinkle depth, alongside Haloxyl to tackle under-eye discoloration.

Founded in 2009 by Sam and Dana Stewart, the brand has grown from an independent operation to a presence in over 5,000 retail locations, including Whole Foods Market and Ulta Beauty. This launch signals a strategic push into advanced, science-backed eye care, positioning the treatment as a middle ground between daily moisturizers and clinical cosmetic procedures.
