The widespread adoption of the Prodec Oil Plus system highlights a broader trend in the ethanol sector: squeezing maximum value from every bushel of corn. By integrating these decanters, plants can recover higher volumes of Distillers Corn Oil (DCO) without undertaking extensive facility overhauls. Beyond the immediate revenue boost from oil sales, the technology addresses common processing bottlenecks, such as evaporator fouling and excessive DCO levels in the backset.
