The company currently manages 296 MWDC of solar and 307 MWDC of storage in various stages of development. A significant portion of this pipeline—65 percent—utilizes dual-use designs, which allow for simultaneous clean energy production and continued agricultural productivity. CEO Sean Finnerty emphasized that the firm’s operational model prioritizes long-term land stewardship, aiming to provide economic stability for landowners while bolstering grid reliability.
Operational performance remains a core metric for the developer, with its portfolio of 10 active projects generating over 50,000 MWh of electricity last year. These assets successfully displaced approximately 34,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Beyond infrastructure deployment, BlueWave’s 2025 initiatives included $30,000 in charitable donations and 500 hours of employee-led volunteer work across 40 different organizations. The firm continues its collaboration with the American Farmland Trust and the Coalition for Community Solar Access to standardize responsible land-use policies.
