One Brooklyn Health Deploys hellocare.ai to Scale Virtual Nursing

One Brooklyn Health is integrating hellocare.ai’s intelligence platform across its New York facilities to automate patient monitoring and safety protocols. The partnership aims to alleviate clinical burnout by deploying AI-assisted virtual nursing and specialized modules for fall and pressure injury prevention across the system’s hospital units.

One Brooklyn Health Deploys hellocare.ai to Scale Virtual Nursing

The deployment covers two primary modules: AI-Assisted Virtual Nursing and Virtual Sitting. By utilizing real-time patient observation, the software identifies clinical risks—such as potential falls or developing pressure injuries—before they escalate. This shift allows nurses to manage larger patient volumes across multiple units without sacrificing safety standards or direct care quality.

Sandra Scott, CEO of One Brooklyn Health, stated that the move is intended to provide more equitable and responsive care to the community. Arthur Gianelli, the system's President and Chief Transformation Officer, noted that the platform standardizes virtual care delivery while enhancing clinical decision-making. Prissana Alston, Chief Nursing Executive, emphasized that the technology acts as a force multiplier, allowing teams to prioritize high-value patient interactions over routine monitoring.

Headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, hellocare.ai supports over 100 health systems nationwide. For One Brooklyn Health, which operates facilities including Brookdale Hospital Medical Center and Interfaith Medical Center, this integration serves as a strategic effort to improve workforce sustainability and operational efficiency in a high-demand urban environment.
