Full Circle Lithium Targets First Responders at NFPA Conference

As lithium-ion battery fires become a frequent hazard for emergency teams, Toronto-based Full Circle Lithium is bringing its FCL-X suppression technology to the National Fire Protection Association Conference in Las Vegas. The company aims to position its specialized extinguishers as the new standard for volatile battery-related incidents.

The conference arrives after a period of rapid commercial scaling for the manufacturer. Over the last four months, Full Circle Lithium has transitioned to full production capacity while launching its FCL-X extinguishers into U.S. retail channels. Beyond consumer markets, the company has completed live burn demonstrations with seven major airlines and the Federal Aviation Administration, signaling an aggressive push into the aviation and industrial logistics sectors.

CEO Carlos Vicens identified the event as a vital venue for connecting with fire service professionals who frequently encounter the unique risks of thermal runaway and toxic gas release. With the recent development of the FCL-X GEL for stationary energy storage systems and a new deployment with a major waste management operator, the company is attempting to fill a gap left by conventional fire suppression methods. The firm's presence in Las Vegas underscores a broader strategy to integrate their proprietary, water-based agent into the standard toolkit for North American fire departments.
