The centerpiece of the Midea booth, the H-Pack, marks a shift in how the company approaches European installation constraints. By removing the need for an outdoor unit, the system bypasses common noise complaints and zoning regulations that often complicate heat pump retrofits. Developed by Midea’s European R&D team, the modular unit supports both all-electric and hybrid operations, with remote diagnostics intended to streamline long-term maintenance.
Beyond heating, Midea expanded its smart home portfolio with the VitaBreeze system. Using proprietary AirGrid technology, users can map and direct airflow via smartphone, supported by predictive ECOMASTER 2.0 algorithms that adjust energy consumption. The company also pushed its presence in the premium segment with the Raynor Pro, a split AC unit engineered for extreme Nordic conditions, capable of maintaining full heating capacity at -25°C.
Market-specific solutions remained a priority, as evidenced by the PortaSplit, which simplifies window-based installations to cut labor costs. Midea confirmed this line will transition to the R290 refrigerant by 2027. To tie these appliances together, the MHELIOS energy management platform now integrates solar, storage, and EV charging into a single interface. During the event, Euromonitor reaffirmed Midea’s market leadership, naming the firm the world's top provider of residential inverter and R290 air conditioning systems for the fourth year running.
