The current hiring landscape is trapped in a feedback loop where job seekers use AI to generate volume and recruiters rely on automated filters to manage the influx. Greenhouse CEO Daniel Chait argues that existing systems are merely digitized versions of paper-era workflows, leaving them ill-equipped for the current era of generative AI. By consolidating sourcing, identity verification, and structured interviewing into a single platform, the company aims to replace application volume with verifiable signal.
The new ecosystem includes features like Dream Job, which allows candidates to highlight their top choice, and Real Talent, a tool built to flag fraud and verify applicant identity. Greenhouse has also integrated Voice AI to conduct initial interviews, ensuring every candidate receives a consistent screening process before human recruiters step in for final decisions. The platform remains open to third-party integrations, allowing employers to utilize these tools even if they rely on external applicant tracking systems. Greenhouse plans to demonstrate the full ecosystem at the HR Tech conference in Las Vegas later this month.
