Hi-TECH Beauty Labs Secures Patent for Plant-Based Skincare Platform

Dallas-based Hi-TECH Beauty Labs has secured U.S. Patent No. 12,642,834 B2 for its B3 Technology, a botanical alternative to harsh chemical treatments like benzoyl peroxide and retinol. The company now eyes a $5 million seed round to scale its SkinKick brand and pursue licensing deals with industry incumbents.

Hi-TECH Beauty Labs Secures Patent for Plant-Based Skincare Platform

Founded by former semiconductor executive Matthew J. Schirle and inventor Dr. D. William Provance, the firm applies engineering principles to skin-cell biology. Their proprietary B3 Technology utilizes a blend of Black Willow Bark, Cat's Claw, and Dragon's Blood to manage skin health without the traditional reliance on salicylic acid or adapalene. The company’s SkinViNO process—an acronym for Vitamins, Nutrients, and Omegas—serves as the foundation for their product philosophy.

Schirle plans to present this commercialization strategy at the Global Capital Network Investor Conference in Newport Beach on October 15, 2026. By drawing parallels between the architecture of semiconductor memory cells and human skin pores, the team aims to disrupt the skincare market. Beyond direct-to-consumer sales through their SkinKick label, Hi-TECH Beauty Labs intends to license its botanical platform to established personal-care companies seeking to move away from conventional acid-based formulations.
