The competition, a centerpiece of the 2026 China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges, drew 147 entrepreneurial proposals. Notably, over half of these submissions originated from joint teams comprising both Chinese and African participants. Two standout initiatives—the "Bamboo Bridges China-Africa" project and a vertical AIGC digital collaboration platform—demonstrated the tangible outcomes of this partnership.
Following the final pitch sessions, judges awarded six projects top honors, while ten others received excellence recognition. During a concluding roundtable, industry representatives and university mentors analyzed how digital tools can further streamline cooperation. Emmanuel Edward, an African youth representative, emphasized the platform's long-term value, noting the pride participants feel in contributing to this evolving journey of international youth entrepreneurship.
