Her professional background includes long-standing memberships in the National Emergency Number Association and APCO International, groups that focus on the specialized needs of public safety communications.

Bentina Terry, president and CEO of Southern Linc, noted that Benton’s technical background and familiarity with public safety requirements make her a valuable addition to the board.
