President Peter Byl described the loss as a profound tragedy for the company. The crew—Captain Philip Childerhose, First Officer Thomas Farquhar, Flight Nurse Sarah Paton, and Respiratory Therapist Jolene Weir—were remembered not merely as aviation professionals, but as dedicated caregivers who spent their careers assisting patients during critical moments. Each member was noted for their personal warmth and commitment to their respective fields, leaving behind a legacy of service.

Latitude continues to support the families of the victims while extending condolences to the relatives of the patient and family escort who were also on board. The company is cooperating with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada and the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board. As investigations into the cause of the accident proceed, Latitude leadership has requested privacy for the grieving families and stated they will refrain from speculating on the circumstances of the crash until official findings are released.
