The tequila undergoes a complex two-stage maturation process. It spends 26 months in American oak barrels previously seasoned by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, followed by a six-month finish in casks that formerly held Oloroso Sherry and Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This process yields a spirit bottled at 54.5% ABV, or 109 proof, designed to balance agave minerality with the depth of its dual-cask history.
Southern Spirits in Indian Land, South Carolina, will host the exclusive release on October 2, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm EST. While the bottles are available for purchase online, the company mandates in-person pickup for South Carolina residents, requiring out-of-state buyers to travel to the store to claim their purchase. Once the inventory of 138 bottles is exhausted, the expression will be permanently discontinued.
