The platform aggregates over 35 years of maintenance records and live telemetry data from nearly one million assets to generate its ratings. By comparing individual hardware performance against broader failure patterns and regional spare-parts availability, the software provides insights previously restricted to original equipment manufacturers. According to CEO Chris Adams, the system empowers enterprises to transition from reactive maintenance to data-driven lifecycle planning.
Beyond simple diagnostics, the tool functions by collecting out-of-band data independent of operating systems, ensuring visibility even during system failures. It identifies high-risk devices—currently estimated at one in 50 across major manufacturers—before they cause downtime. Chief Product Officer Daniel Nelson noted that the platform allows managers to benchmark their specific fleet against global peer groups, providing the objective evidence needed to justify maintenance budgets or hardware upgrades. The beta version is currently available to existing customers, with a full release scheduled for transition after October 31.
