Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB has expanded its total share count to 357,636,514 as of September 30, 2026. The increase follows the issuance and subsequent conversion of 223,677 class C shares into common stock, a move designed to facilitate the company’s long-term incentive program for its global workforce.

Sobi reports increase in share capital following employee incentive plan

The newly issued shares support the All Employee Programme, which provides equity-based commitments to permanent staff members. By utilizing the conversion clause within the company's articles of association, Sobi integrated these class C holdings directly into its common share pool. Each share carries one vote, bringing the total voting power in line with the updated share count.

Following these adjustments, Sobi currently maintains a treasury position of 9,631,955 common shares. The biopharmaceutical firm, which focuses on treatments for rare diseases, operates across major global markets with approximately 2,000 employees. The company’s stock remains listed on Nasdaq Stockholm under the ticker symbol SOBI.
