AGS Expands Midwest Presence with Acquisition of Mark Industries

Mark Industries brings specialized fabrication and installation capabilities for warehouse and retail projects to the AGS portfolio. Josh Cunningham, who previously served as owner and president of the Elgin firm, will remain in his leadership role under the new ownership. The proximity of Mark’s operations to AGS’s existing facility in East Moline is expected to streamline project delivery and service capacity across northern Illinois.

Since its formation in July 2025, AGS has aggressively consolidated Midwest glazing businesses, including Omni Glass & Paint and East Moline Glass. Headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the company now manages approximately 500 employees across 10 locations. The Sterling Group continues to leverage its $9 billion in assets to scale the platform, with executives signaling that they remain active in pursuing further acquisitions to broaden the company's regional footprint.
