Rich Products Unveils $3.2 Million Innovation Hub in Buffalo

Rich Products has completed a $3.2 million renovation of its Customer Innovation Center at its Buffalo global headquarters, transforming underutilized space into a high-tech facility. The project integrates culinary production, digital collaboration tools, and media studios to accelerate product development and deepen customer engagement across the family-owned firm’s global network.

The redesigned center features advanced video walls and smart displays tailored for hybrid collaboration, reflecting a shift toward more interactive, on-demand industry experiences. CEO Richard Ferranti noted that the space is intended to bridge the gap between culinary expertise and client needs, fostering real-time problem solving in a single, immersive environment. The facility also includes dedicated photography and videography studios, alongside a specialized innovation studio designed to simulate diverse kitchen environments for product demonstrations.

This capital project marks a broader trend of expansion for the company in Western New York. Following a $10 million investment in its Niagara Street campus—including the relocation of subsidiary ROAR Logistics and the acquisition of the historic Curtiss Malt House—the firm continues to anchor its operations in Buffalo. These strategic upgrades support Rich Products’ goal of maintaining its long-term status as a private, family-owned entity while managing a global portfolio that generates $5.8 billion in annual sales.
