The open-label study evaluated a daily dose of 5 grams of creatine monohydrate paired with 600 milligrams of alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine. Beyond objective cognitive testing, the data relied on participant reports to gauge shifts in focus, mood, and physical stamina. Within the first week, 79% of users noted improvements in clarity or performance, with the average time to perceive a benefit reaching just two days.
By the end of the four-week period, the reported gains remained significant. Participants cited a 96% increase in motivation and an 89% boost in focus, while 83% reported higher energy levels. The product, which holds NSF Certified for Sport status, also showed positive results for exercise recovery, with 70% of subjects noting improved recovery times. Ken Rowe, Thorne’s Chief R&D Officer, emphasized that the company prioritizes testing finished formulations rather than individual ingredients to ensure consumers understand the real-world outcomes of their supplements. This project is part of a broader research initiative for the company, which has already completed five studies in 2026 and plans to initiate over 30 more in the coming year.
