LeapXpert and Carahsoft Partner to Secure Government Messaging

Public sector employees frequently use personal messaging channels to communicate with colleagues and constituents, often leaving sensitive records outside of official oversight. This practice conflicts with strict National Archives and Records Administration retention requirements and Freedom of Information Act obligations. The collaboration positions Carahsoft as the master government aggregator, enabling agencies to deploy LeapXpert’s platform through established contract vehicles, including TIPS and OMNIA Partners.

Avi Pardo, co-founder of LeapXpert, noted that government has become the company’s fastest-growing segment, necessitating a partner with deep reach into agency procurement. By embedding LeapXpert’s technology, agencies can capture and archive conversations in real time, ensuring that records remain within secure, managed systems rather than isolated on personal devices. Brian O'Donnell, vice president of cybersecurity solutions at Carahsoft, emphasized that the platform provides a scalable path for meeting federal security mandates while maintaining the messaging workflows that employees already utilize.
