Dr. Barghi brings a distinct approach to the team, focusing heavily on motion-preserving alternatives to spinal fusion. His clinical practice covers a spectrum of conditions, including spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and adult scoliosis, alongside revision surgery for patients with previous failed procedures.

His clinical expertise is complemented by an academic background as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, where he studied health economics. During his fellowship at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Barghi performed over 500 surgeries in one year. He carries a research portfolio of more than 135 publications, with current work investigating how machine learning can improve patient outcomes and recovery predictions. Dr. Barghi maintains a clinical philosophy centered on conservative intervention, explicitly prioritizing disc replacement over fusion whenever medically appropriate.
