CEO Ron King noted the firm maintains a corporate office in nearby Coeur d'Alene, driving the company's commitment to the regional nonprofit.

During the event, the incoming dogs—transported by Wings of Rescue after being pulled from overcrowded Los Angeles facilities—will meet attendees before being placed under the care of the Idaho shelter. Development director Vicky Nelson emphasized that the influx of small breeds addresses a specific local need, as the facility currently struggles with an overflow of larger dogs. Last year, the fundraiser generated over $128,000, a benchmark the organization aims to eclipse through continued community sponsorships.
