The integration allows policyholders to manage their coverage through a self-service digital interface, replacing manual processes with automated systems. By leveraging Sure’s infrastructure, Recoop can now handle complex payroll-deduct billing for employer-sponsored benefits, a key distribution channel for the company. This shift reduces administrative friction for brokers and employers while providing a scalable framework for Recoop to launch in remaining states pending regulatory approval.
Recoop provides up to $25,000 in cash to cover gaps left by standard homeowners and renters policies. With the new backend, the provider gains real-time visibility into enrollment metrics and payment processing. Wayne Slavin, CEO of Sure, noted that the infrastructure upgrade is intended to accelerate the speed of both policy issuance and claim support. Recoop CTO Charlie Turri emphasized that the technology transition is essential for scaling the product, ensuring that families can secure financial protection against disasters with greater efficiency.
